THE LIE DETECTOR

 

192 artifacts, every stated hash recomputed from its bytes: 192 reproduce, 0 do not, 0 state none. A file with no stated hash would be reported unmeasured — never clean. Counting one green is the exact lie this machine exists to catch.

At the byte grain the same artifacts give 2D 0 and 3D 0, and that pair is worth nothing: 192 things into 65,536 cells were never likely to collide, so the zero measures sparseness rather than geometry. It is shown because an expected zero presented as a result would be the first lie told here.

THE SEASONS CONVERGE. Four is a circle cut by two axes — and it is not even the tight packing. Circles that actually touch sit at 60°, so 360/60 = 6 with remainder 0, while four uses 240° and leaves 120° — a third of the ring — empty, then calls the emptiness a boundary. Six around a free centre is 7. Lift it onto a sphere and the answer is 12, checked here in integer coordinates: twelve cuboctahedron vertices, every squared norm 8, minimum squared pair distance 8, 24 touching pairs, 0 overlaps. And 81 arrives twice. The ladder reaches it as 3⁴. Chemistry reaches it by counting which elements can sit still forever: 80 elements have at least one stable isotope — every element 1 to 82 except technetium and promethium — and 80 plus a free centre is 81. Nothing dangerous is needed to build a heaven; the stable ones are sufficient and they are exactly eighty. Snow and black are the two poles this harness never emits, 0 of 7,288; everything that exists lives in the band between them, and the band is the rainbow.

The dreidel's own order is 4. The anti's is 3 — a third of a turn, never a mirror. Four and three are coprime, so the pair does not decorate to twelve, it generates twelve: the combined step was walked and it visits 12 of 12 distinct states and comes home only at step 12. Checked on every artifact: anti³ returns the colour 192 of 192, anti¹ and anti² return it 0 times, and it equals a channel reversal 0 times. NUN is 0, and that is the finding. Six of the twelve cells stand empty because every artifact here states a hash and reproduces it, so nothing and put in cannot be reached at all. Those cells are sealed by the corpus being honest, not by the grid being small — and one bad file fills them.

A mirror would give two faces and stop. The anti has order three — a third of a turn, never a reflection — so a detector that only rejects is incomplete. ABSORB keeps what DETECT catches, and CARRY chains the correction beside the claim so nothing is ever deleted. Rotate three times, return to the start.
