A zebra is a square wave drawn on a body. Two values, alternating — which is what z is: the wave allowed only black and white. Press S and every stripe becomes the smooth wave it was before it was squared; press Z to put it back.
No two patterns are the same, and none was chosen. Each zebra's stripe count, phase and tilt are read from its own sha — the same way a real zebra's coat is its identity and not its decoration. Drag to turn them. Hover one to read it.
